What is the object of the game?

The object of Sports Prime Time is to acquire the most points by making online wagers on real sporting events in one Sports Prime Time Game Period. The member with the most accumulated points at the end of the Game Period wins that round.

How long does a Game Period of Sports Prime Time last?

A game period in Sports Prime Time will last anywhere from 7-14 days from beginning to end. We chose the length of the period depending on how many real sporting events are available to be wagered upon in that time.

During this time you can wager as many points that you have on as many real-time games as you wish up to the maximum amount of points in your account at that specific time. Please note the game period time in on SPTN's home page. It shows the start date, end date and time for each given period.


How do I play Sports Prime Time?

At the time of registration you are assigned 50,000 startup points in your account. When you login you can click on the "Live Scoreboard" button on the left menu bar an pick what sporting events you want to use your points against. You can wager your points on any one sporting event or a mix of different events as long as you have the amount of credits to cover your wagers. Check the date and time of the game and make sure that you have sufficient time to make the wager. If you do, follow the on screen directions.

Read the next screen carefully because you cannot reverse a wager. Make sure the teams you have picked are correct, you have chosen what the outcome of the game will be, and how much you want to wager on that outcome.

When you choose the amount to wager click the Place Wager button to the right. (Please Note: Once you place the wager, there is no turning back and the amount is taken from your points account until the game is played.)

It is that simple! Place as many wagers as you want but be careful. You must manage your account wisely to grow it to the top ranks by the end of the game period.

How do I check my Rank in the Game period?

After you log in you can check what position you are in, in that game period by clicking on "Leader Board" on the main menu bar to the left. You are ranked by the amount of points that you have in your account. The highest ranked player in both the Paid Members Game and the Regular Members game will win the pre-determined prize of that month. Please Note that all players are ranked on the same leader board. The highest position each month for all the players wins the prize! (Please Note: A prize is determined at the beginning of each game period before it starts and the prize has no cash value. (Check the Home Page for the Prize for that Period!)

How many times can I register?

You can register only once at SPTN!  This rule is very important because if you are caught with more than one account you will be automatically disqualified.

What happens if I lose all my points?

If you make incorrect wagers and lose all your points that were assigned you are essentially out of the game for the period.  Place your wagers wisely as you only have 50,000 startup points per period.  Make sure you have enough points to wager on the big games that are a "sure thing" so you can gain position in the ranks!


How many times do I have to wager in the month to qualify for the prize?

There are no minimum or maximum wagers needed to qualify. It is in your best interest to accumulate as many points as you can to ensure high placement in the game! This will require many wagers and some sports research. The more you know the higher you will place in the game!


When does the score of each game get updated?

All scores are in real-time. As the game is completed the scores will update and your account will receive its winnings. Although the transfer is instant, there will be cases and certain leagues that update the live action feeds much slower so please keep this in mind as you play the game.

What does the membership cost at SPTN?

To register and play SPTN there is absolutely no cost. As an entrant into a game period everybody starts at the same level with 50,000 points in the account. The regular game entries who are playing just for the thrill and the medal beside their name need to do nothing more. If you win, next round you receive a free UPGRADE and are eligible to win the following weeks "Supporter" Prize.
